Individual Therapy
A space just for you.
Individual therapy is a one-on-one partnership — a confidential, unhurried space to work through whatever is weighing on you, at your own pace.
Who individual therapy is for
Individual therapy can be helpful at any point in your life — whether you’re in a moment of acute distress or simply looking to understand yourself more deeply. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.
- Navigating identity, coming out, or gender exploration
- Anxiety, depression, or persistent low mood
- Healing from trauma or difficult childhood experiences
- Life transitions — career, relationships, loss
- Grief, including ambiguous or disenfranchised grief
- Relationship struggles or patterns you want to shift
- Building self-worth and self-compassion
- Processing experiences of discrimination or marginalization
What to expect in a first session
Your first session is about getting acquainted. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll go at whatever pace feels comfortable for you.
Introductions
I'll share a bit about how I work, and we'll talk through what brings you in.
Your story
You share as much or as little as feels right. I'll ask gentle questions to understand your context.
Goals
We'll begin to explore what you hope to get from therapy — now and longer-term.
Next steps
Together we'll decide if we're a good fit and what a therapy relationship might look like.
